Jesse Alvin Davis, 86, of Rt. 5, Box 74, Huntsville, died Nov. 15, 1989, at the Huntsville Memorial Hospital. He was born Aug. 5, 1903, at Purdy, Ark., the son of Abe and Dolly Bowen Davis. He was a farmer and a Baptist.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Rachel Keck Davis of the home; three sons, Eugene Davis of Yakima, Wash., Junior Davis and Jerry Davis, both of Huntsville; three daughters, Mrs. Pauline Russell of Payette, Idaho, Mrs. Josephine West of Prosser, Wash., and Mrs. Hazel Voelker of Yakima, Wash.; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with the Rev. Porter Bryant officiating. Interment was in the Huntsville Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were James Jones, Bill Jones, Bob Drake, Questin Goyne, Jack Reynolds and Vernon Bryant.

Mrs. Rachel Davis, 83, of Rt. 5, Box 74, Huntsville, Ark., died April 20, 1991, at Huntsville memorial Hospital. She was born Dec. 1, 1907, at Whorton Creek, Ark., the daughter of John David and Rosa Ann Reynolds Keck. She was a homemaker and the widow of Jesse Alvin Davis, who preceded her in death on Nov. 15, 1989.
