Lee F. Stansell, 78, of Route 2, Hindsville, died Dec. 8, 1983, at the Huntsville Memorial Hospital. He was born Dec. 17, 1904 at Whorton Creek, the son of Jesse Newton and Nancy Palestine Bolinger Stansell. He was a farmer.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Artie Jones Stansell of the home; one son, Joe Stansell of Colcord, Okla.; one daughter, Mrs. Mildred Jenkins of Wichita, Kans.; four brothers, Cread Stansell of Hindsville, Leonard Stansell of Huntsville, Oren Stansell and Dee Stansell both of Valley Falls, Kans.; one sister, Mrs. Gladys Vanhook of Springdale, and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday, Dec. 12, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with the Rev. Eldon Bagwell officiating. Burial was in the Huntsville Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Jack Vanhook, Norman Stansell, Johnny Stansell, Forest Stansell, Eddie Stansell and Larry Stansell.

May 21,1910-DMrs. Artie Stansell, 73, of Hindsville, died Dec. 31, 1983 at Washington Regional Medical Center. She was born may 21, 1910, at Wharton Creek, the daughter of Dinsmore Eligah and Tilda Catherine Inman Jones. She was the widow of Lee F. Stansell, to whom she was married Oct. 9, 1927, and who died Dec. 8, 1983.
Survivors include one son, Joe Stansell, of Colcord, Okla.; one daughter, Mrs. Mildred Jenkins of Wichita, Kan.; one sister, Mrs. Euna Steele of Huntsville and five grandchildren.
Services were Wednesday, Jan. 4 at 2 p.m. in the Brashears Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Eldon Bagwell officiating. Burial was in Huntsville Cemetery.ec 31,1983
