Ernest Merlin Donaghey, 74, of Route 3, Box 37, Huntsville, Ark., died March 24, 1994, at his home. He was born Sept. 28, 1919, at Elkins, the son of Edward and Golda Lane Donaghey. He was a retired maintenance mechanic for Disneyland and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was a veteran of World War Two, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Huntsville Lodge #364, Free and Accepted Masons. He was preceded in death by one son, Gary Michael Donaghey in 1974.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Fern Cornelison Donaghey of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Benita Troster of Eureka Springs; two brothers, Afton Donaghey and Harold Donaghey, both of Anaheim, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Doris Marshall of Anaheim, Calif.; two grandsons, Michael Donaghey of Fontana, Calif., and Ronald Troster with the U.S. Navy stationed at San Diego, Calif.; one granddaughter, Ms. Holly Donaghey of Ontario, Calif.; one great-grandson, Richard Troster of San Diego, Calif.; two great-granddaughters, Miss Stephanie Donaghey of Ontario, Calif., and Miss Rheann Troster of San Diego, Calif.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 28, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with John Tenberge and the Rev. Charles Duncan officiating. Interment was in the Huntsville Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Don McLoud, Bill McCloud, Jeff McLoud, Harvey Joe McLoud, Charles McLoud and Dwain McLoud.

Nella Fern Donaghey, 83, of Chino Hills, Calif., died Aug. 4, 2005, at Montclair Manor in Montclair, Calif. She was born Dec. 16, 1921, at Los Angeles, Calif., the daughter of Charles William and Alta Ethel Boyd Cornelison. She was a homemaker and a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints. She was the widow of Ernest Merlin Donaghey who preceded her in death on March 24, 1994. She was also preceded in death by one son, Gary Michael Donaghey and one daughter, Benita Troster.
Survivors include: one brother, Charles Cornelison, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Chloe and Gene Smith and Billie and Conley Clark, two grandsons and one granddaughter-in-law, Michael and Susan Donaghey of Chino Hills, Calif., and Ronald Troster of Texas; one granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Holly and Sean Killian of Riverside, Calif., and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with President Bruce Child officiating. Interment will be in Huntsville Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville.
