Mrs. Birtie Rice, 85, 508 Mountain View Ave., Springdale, died May 27 in Springdale Memorial Hospital. She was born June 28, 1891, at Spring Valley and was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Roy Rice, Springdale; three daughters, Ruth Rice and Mrs. Pearl Archer, Springdale, and Mrs. Nevada Shipman, Sacramento, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Lorena Sykes, Gerber, Calif., and Mrs. Ellen White, Forum; 17 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 P.M. Tuesday in Sisco Chapel. Burial will be in Morriss Cemetery under the direction of Sisco.
