James Herbert Travis, 82, of Ozark died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 1999, in Ozark. He was a welder, an Air Force veteran of World War II and a member of the Freedom of Faith Pentecostal Church of Ozark.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel of Ozark with burial at Duncan Cemetery north of Ozark.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian; two daughters, Sandra Brante of Tampa, Fla., and Twila Day of Costa Mesa, Calif.; and two grandchildren, Michelle Guy and Melissa Buzzetto, both of Tampa.
Pallbearers will be John Crouch, Daniel and Robert Powell, Timmy Owens, James Ellerbee and Melvin Roberts.
The family will visit with friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
