Doug Brian Cooper, age 50, of Arkana, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
He was born February 20, 1963, in Portland, Oregon, to Curtis Eugene and Mary Marguerite Watson Cooper. On March 12, 1993, he married Janice Ilene Goforth in Mountain Home. Mr. Cooper worked in janitorial services and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife: Janice I. Cooper; two daughters: Rebecca Cooper (and Justin Combs): Mountain Home, Arkansas; and Jessey Cooper: Arkana; father: Curtis E. Cooper: Mountain Home; brother: Andy Cooper (and Debbie Cooper): Norfork, Arkansas; 2 sisters Terry Beyen (and husband Michael): Mountain Home; and Lesa Luckey (and Dan Atchley): Mountain Grove, Missouri; two grandchildren: Waylon and Whitlee Combs; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and a grandson Austin Brian Combs.
Visitation will be from Noon-9:00 P.M. Sunday at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, August 12, 2013, at Arkana Baptist Church. Interment will be in Arkana Cemetery. Visit our online guestbook at www.rollerfuneralhomes.com.
