Springdale — William C. (Billy) Vanzant, 94, of Route 2, Springdale, died Tuesday in the Springdale hospital. Born Dec. 24, 1876 at Yellville, the son of Samuel and Amy Calihan Vanzant, he was retired farmer and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors are one step-son, Carlos Parson of Modesto, Calif.; 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Sisco Funeral Chapel with burial in Sonora Cemetery.
