A Funeral Service for Sally Louise Greer of Norfork, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, April 10, 2014, at the Lone Rock Baptist Church, with Reverend Doug Huskey officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until time of service at the church.
Sally passed away April 6, 2014, in Norfork, Arkansas at the age of 83. She was born June 25, 1930, in Grapevine, Texas, the daughter of Robert Mayfield and Alma Carrol Francis. She married John Hobson Greer was a homemaker. Sally lived in Norfork since 1986, moving from East Texas. She was a member of the Lone Rock Baptist Church and enjoyed quilting and visiting with neighbors.
Sally is survived by her two sons, Jay Hobson Greer, Sr. of Norfork, AR and John Robert (Jan) Greer of Vicksburg, MS; two sisters, Robbie John of Longview, TX and Sue (Jack) Beaton of Longview, TX; grandchildren, Kevin Greer, Robbie (Peaches) Izumi, Eric (Kim) Greer, Jay Hobson Greer, Jr., Marissa Dawn Greer and Ethan Blaine Greer; great-grandchildren, Ashley Greer, Austin Greer and Ethan Greer and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Burial will be in the Burnt School House Cemetery, Norfork, Arkansas.
