Bennie Lee Beaver 64 of Morrilton, Arkansas went to be with his heavenly father August 17, 2012 at the VA Medical Center in Little Rock.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, uncle, and friend.

He was born May 11, 1948 in Hardy, Arkansas, to Lela Mae Beaver of Kennett, Missouri and the Late Thomas Beaver.

He bravely served his country in faraway lands as an honored Vietnam veteran.

He was an avid fisherman, gardener, and loved to attend church and help the needy around him. He retired from IC Corp. (Conway, Arkansas) after 32 years in 2004.

Survivors include his wife of 36 wonderful years Louise Beaver of Morrilton; mother, Lela Mae Beaver of Kennett, Missouri; He was the father of four children, Chris (Liz) Beaver of Russellville, Jerry (Heidi) Beaver of Roswell, New Mexico, Brian (Michelle) Beaver of Kenosha, Wisconsin, and Daddy's little girl Kim (Joe) Burcham of Morrilton, and was an amazing papa to ten grandchildren. Five Brothers; Thomas Beaver, Douglas Beaver and Daniel Beaver all of Kennett, Missouri, Dwight Beaver of Dardanelle, and Roger Beaver of Conway; three sisters, Joycie Nicholson of Cordova, Alabama, Annie Belle Mann of Plainview and Glena Scott of Gobbler, Missouri; as well as a host of like family friends, nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 21, 2012, at the Harris Chapel with Bro. Larry Duncan officiating.

Burial will be at Culpepper Cemetery near Formosa by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, August 20, at the funeral home.
