SPRINGDALE — Opal M. Ramer, 85, of Springdale died April 25, 2004, at her home. She was born July 16, 1918, in the Brush Creek community to Everett John and Elsie Graham Wright. She was a member of Pilgrims Rest Freewill Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Levi Ramer, in 1984.

Survivors include three sons, Denzel Ramer and wife Wanda and Delbert Ramer and wife Peggy, all of Spring Valley, and Shelby Ramer and wife Carol of Fayetteville; one daughter, Estelle Skelton of Nob Hill; one brother, Mangus Wright of Springdale; two half brothers, Jimmy Wright and Danny Wright, both of Springdale; five half sisters, Barbara McGarrah, Leona Wright and Geneva Miller, all of Springdale, Clara Staggs of Hindsville and Loretta Bohannan of Jackett, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sisco Chapel in Springdale with the Rev. Earl Dean Morris, the Rev. Loy Counts and Chaplain J.W. Walker officiating. Burial will he in Joyce Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be grandsons Randy Ramer, Ronnie Ramer, Scott Ramer. Kevin Skelton, Franky Holland and Mike Young.

Honorary pallbearers will be great-grandsons Jamie Holland, Robert Holland, Jeffrey Holland, Charles Ray Ramer, John Self, Mitchel Young, Tyler Young, Ty Ramer, Zachary Ramer, Andrew Rhyne and Anthony Rhyne.

Memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 610 E. Emma Ave., Springdale, 72764.
