PRAIRIE GROVE -- Willard R. Gamble, 81, of Prairie Grove died Nov. 24, 2006, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born Aug. 8, 1925, in Bentonville to Willie and Mary Gladys Scoggins. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a retired heavy equipment operator.
Survivors include his children, David Gamble of Prairie Grove, Linda Cooper of Colorado and Larry Gamble of Livermore, Calif.
Burial will be at 1 p.m. today at National Cemetery in Fayetteville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Arkansas Children's Hospital, 800 Marshall St., Little Rock, 72202.
