SPRINGDALE — Henry Ray Smith, 80, of Springdale died Sep. 8, 1995, at his home. He was born Oct. 25, 1914, at Fort Cobb, Okla., to William Thomas and Lillie Mae Cecil Smith. He was a retired Cargill employee, attended First Southern Baptist Church of Goshen and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was married to Eunice M. Smith on Nov. 30, 1940, and she preceded him in death on Sept. 10, 1986.

Survivors include one son, Stanley Wright of Springdale; one daughter, Rosetta Dyer of Columbus, Miss.; one sister, Gladys Wright of Springdale; five grandchildren; one great-grandson.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Sisco Chapel in Springdale, with the Rev. Farrell Ard officiating. Burial will be in Joyce Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Sean Staggs, Craig Staggs, Danny Wright, Kenneth Butler, Christopher Butler, Ricky Eagle and Jimmy Ray Wright.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Mida Neff, 102 Woodcliff Road, Springdale 72764, or to the American Lung Association, 211 Natural Resources Drive, Little Rock, 72201.
