FAYETTEVILLE — Harry Oliver Jackson Jr. (Joliver), 72, of Fayetteville left this world June 26, 2013, after a long battle with Lymphoma. He was born Aug. 22, 1940, the son of Harry and Hope (Cain) Jackson.

Survivors include wife, Juanita Harp Jackson, whom he married May 22, 1981; they had been married 32 years; daughter, Alice Stilwell of Fayetteville and her children, Derek Wilson, Jesse Ray, Scott and Seth Stilwell; daughter, Leah Harp Wages and husband, Richard, of Springdale and their children, Hope and Austin Wages.

As a young man he was president of his 4-H club and was the county winner in forestry and a member of the State Champion Poultry Judging Team. He graduated from the University High School in 1958.

He served in the Army National Guard. He was a lifelong farmer and raised poultry for Cargill. He was very active in the community and served on several committees and boards, including the Cattlemen's Association, was president of the board of directors of Goshen Volunteer Fire Department. He served on the Farm Bureau board of directors since 1974.

When his daughters were in Girl Scouts, he served on the Noark Girl Scout board of directors and carried a card in his wallet that said he was a Girl Scout, and proudly showed it to people to get a smile.

He was elected as Justice of the Peace for Washington County Quorum Court, and during this time he helped plan the 911 service for Washington County.

During his life he received several awards and recognition, including Grower of the Year from Cargill, Farm Family of the Year, and in 2012 he was presented the Citizen of the Year award by the City of Goshen. In 1970, he received the Jaycee Young Farmer Award. It was presented by Lt. Governor Britt and State Rep. Steward.

Visitation was Sunday, June 30, 2013, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. today, July 1, 2013, at Sisco Funeral Chapel, with Mike Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow at Sonora Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Derek Wilson, Jesse Ray, Scott Stilwell, Roy Scroggins, Larry Cain and Barrett Cain. Honorary pallbearers are Richard Wages, Austin Wages, Hope Wages and Farm Bureau board members.

Memorials may be made to Willard Walker Hospice Home, 325 E. Longview, Fayetteville, AR 72703.
