Albert Earl Puryear, 85, of Springdale died Jan. 21, 1995, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born June 29, 1909, at Spring Valley to David Young and Bertha Lee Morris Puryear. He was a retired farmer and a member and deacon of First Baptist Church of Hindsville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ovid Susan Mayfield Puryear, in 1993.
Survivors include three brothers, Curtis Puryear, Glen Puryear and Autry Puryear, all of Springdale.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church of Hindsville, with the Rev. Arthur Nally and the Rev. Earl Dean Morris officiating. Burial will be in the Morriss Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville.
