GARFIELD — Ann Atkins, 59, of Garfield, died Thursday, July 4, 2013, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville. She was born Nov. 3, 1953, in Springdale to Bill and Eupeil Howell Harp.

Ann made friends easily and loved helping others. She enjoyed going to garage sales, the casino on Friday nights with her husband, and time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sons, Fred Wylie, twins, Gahlon and Gary Wylie, and her father.

She is survived by her husband, Frank Atkins, of the home; two children, Lajuana Wylie and husband Calvin of Rogers, Jennifer Nagy and husband Chris of Springdale; three stepchildren, Matt Atkins and wife Bailey of Tontitown, Michelle Schrader and husband Lee of Elm Springs, Jacque Lane of Branson, Mo.; honorary child, Lacy Deleon and husband Omar of Springdale; her mother, Eupiel Harp of Springdale; three brothers, David Harp of Sonora, Billy Joe Harp of Combs, Dempsey Harp of Springdale; two sisters, Brenda McCabe and Susie Harp both of Springdale; 12 grandchildren, Tabethia, Makayla, Dalton, Brittany, Christopher, Ashley, Skyler, Jordan, Elli, Zoe, Makenzie, Mya; and one great-grandchild, Aisha.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 9, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Sonora Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home, online guest book at www.heritageofnwa.com.
