SPRINGDALE — William Henry Spotten, 57, of Springdale died Aug. 10, 2008, at his home. He was born Sept. 6, 1950, in Chicago to William H. and Chloe Clark Spotten.

He was a Catholic and a retired mechanic.

Survivors include his children, William H. Spotten, David L. Spotten and Christopher W. Spotten of Rogers; several stepchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Westfield Chapel in Springdale. Burial will be in Sonora Cemetery.

Visitation will be from noon to service time Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Joe Black, Tyler McCaslin, Chris Spotten, Corey McCaslin, Joey Harp and Martha Camp.

SPRINGDALE — Ruth Spotten, 58, of Springdale died May 13, 2008, in Fayetteville. She was born Jan. 20, 1950, in Tucson, Ariz., to Gaston and Connie Hall Teel.

She was a homemaker and had worked for Harps Grocery.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Spotten of the home; five children, Corey McCaslin, Briane McCaslin, Chris McCaslin and wife Amanda, Tyler McCaslin and Lacey Patton and husband Alex, all of Springdale; her mother of Springdale; a brother, Leon Teel of Prescott, Ariz.; a sister, Millie Gray of Phoenix; a stepson, Chris Spotten of Rogers; four grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Westfield Chapel in Springdale. Burial will be in Sonora Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
