Mrs. Ruthie Luper Wood, 47, of Route 2, Winslow, died Monday in a local hospital. Born Feb. 21, 1923 in Winslow, the daughter or William H. and Carmen Rush Luper, she was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Survivors are the husband, Virgil Wood of the home; her mother of Winslow; two brothers, Oren Luper and Wallace Reed, both of Winslow; two sisters, Mrs. Adam Reed and Mrs. Ted Goodwin, both of Winslow and one grandchild.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Winslow Assembly of God Church with burial in Nickell Cemetery under direction of Moore's Chapel.
