SPRINGDALE — Mangus Vernon Wright, 84, of Springdale died May 24, 2006, at his home. He was born Dec. 25, 1921, in Spring Valley to E.J. and Elsie Graham Wright. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He married Mary Elizabeth Bowerman, on Feb. 16, 1946. He was a carpenter and an avid coon hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the Wild Coon Hunters Club.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Elizabeth Wright of the home; nieces and nephews including, Linda Carmack and Pat Tate, both of Springdale; five half sisters, Geneva Miller, Claire Staggs, Barbara McGarrah, Leona Wright and Loretta Wright.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Joyce Cemetery with the Rev. Brian Bowerman officiating.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Tate, Scott Silva, Franky Holland, J.R. Pitts, Randy Carmack and Denzel Ramer.
Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home in Springdale.

SPRINGDALE — Mary Elizabeth Wright, 89, of Springdale died Aug. 27, 2008. She was born Aug. 7, 1919, in Springdale to George W. and Rhoda Ann Cloer Bowerman.
She enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mangus Vernon Wright, on May 24, 2006.
Survivors include her sister, Dora Bass of Springdale, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Joyce Cemetery with Jasper Hankins officiating.
Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home in Springdale, online at www.heritageofnwa.com.
Honorary pallbearers will be Enoch L. Bowerman, Jim Bowerman, Joe Bowerman, John Bowerman, Marshall Bowerman, Quentin Bowerman, Dennis Cooper, J.R. Pitts, Randy Ponce and Jeff Tate.
