SPRINGDALE — Sterling Price Harrell, 76, of Springdale died March 3, 2014, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born May 14, 1937, in Menard, Texas, to Joseph L.G. and Laura Scheibe Harrell.

He was a United States Air Force veteran, serving during the Korean War. He retired from Tyson Foods after 36 years of service. Price was a member of Silent Grove Baptist Church. He also was an avid Razorback sports fan, and enjoyed reading, working puzzles and playing cards.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Joseph L. Harrell Jr.

He survived by his wife, Coetta Hall Harrell, whom he married July 3, 1982; one daughter, Sara Burke and husband, Chad, of McRae, Ark.; four grandchildren, Ariel, Madison, Nittiya and Wagner Burke; two sisters, Leila Hutton and Mary Harrell, both of Harrison.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2014, at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale, with the Rev. Steve Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Silent Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will today from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Silent Grove Baptist Church, 4123 Silent Grove Road, Springdale, AR. 72762.

MCRAE — Sharon "Coetta" Hall Harrell, formerly of Springdale, went to be with the Lord as she was surrounded by her family at home on Feb. 9, 2021. Coetta was born in Prairie Grove, Ark., on June 5, 1944, to Ed and Reba Hall.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Colleen Hall and husband Price Harrell.

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Sara and Chad Burke; grandchildren Ariel, Madison, Nittiya and Wagner; and many great-grandchildren, all of McRae, Ark.

She was a charter member of Silent Grove Baptist Church where she enjoyed services and church activities until she moved to be closer to her daughter and family. She also was an avid Razorback fan and enjoyed many Springdale High School Alumni activities in which she graduated in 1962.

The services will be held at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale on Feb. 13. The visitation is at 10 a.m. with funeral services at 11 a.m. with burial at Silent Grove Cemetery to follow. The family is asking in lieu of flowers to please make a donation to a charity in honor of Coetta. The family would like to give a special thanks to Skyla Lauderdale, caregiver for the last four months and the hospice nurses and staff. Online condolences may be left at www.siscofuneral.com.
