Carola Locklin Moore, 54, of Fayetteville, died Friday, Dec. 22, 1995, at her home. Born June 19, 1941, at Fayetteville, she was the daughter of Horace and Ferna June Penny Locklin. She was a post-secondary teacher. She graduated in 1959 from Springdale High School and received a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in adult education from the University of Arkansas.

She had worked as an adult vocational instructor and workshop facilitator. She was the first executive director of United Community Services, a coordinating agency for area social services.

She was a "Reach to Recovery" volunteer for the American Cancer Society and served as organist at the Goshen United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Fayetteville.

Survivors are her husband, Bobby Moore of Fayetteville; a daughter, Melody Moore of Fayetteville; and her parents of Springdale.

A memorial service was held Sunday at Silent Grove Cemetery in Springdale with the Rev. John Barry Baker officiating. Arrangements made by Moore's Chapel of Fayetteville.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 40, Fayetteville; or Goshen United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 1, Goshen.
