Missing Conway man found dead in Arkansas River
Posted: August 18, 2011

According to officials with the Conway Police Department, the missing man is actually from Conway County, not the city of Conway.

LITTLE ROCK (AP) — Police in Little Rock say the body of a missing Conway man has been found in the Arkansas River.

Lt. Terry Hastings says the body of 41-year-old LeAndre Jackson was found Wednesday night by a fisherman on the city's west side.

Hastings says Jackson was reported missing Tuesday.

A suspected cause of death was not released — but Hastings says foul play is suspected and homicide detectives are investigating.
