Stephen E. Jett, 85, died yesterday in a local hospital. He was a retired railroad worker, born June 6, 1881 at Brentwood, the son of John B. and Louisa Enyart Jett.
Survivors are one son, Hugh of Fayetteville; two daughters, Mrs. Howard Wagoner of Fayetteville and Mrs. Eugene Duncan of Las Vegas, Nev.; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will he at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Moore's Chapel with burial in Brentwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Lottie Jett, 83, 11 W. South Street died this morning in a local hospital. She was born March 28, 1881 in Stockton, Kan., the daughter of Ole and Rhoda Tolbert Larsen and was a member of Wiggins Memorial Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Steve of the home; one son Hugh of Fayetteville; two daughters, Mrs. Tex Waggoner of Fayetteville and Mrs. Gene Duncan of Las Vegas, Nev.; two sisters, Mrs. Gertie Roper of Fayetteville and Mrs. Nora Burrow of Yuba, Calif.; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Moore's Chapel. Burial in Brentwood Cemetery.
