Husband of Cornelia Ann Blow Stewart: Dr. Stewart was the husband of Cornelia Ann Blow Stewart. He was in the Civil War on the Southern
side as a cobbler. He was captured by the Federal troops and held prisoner at Cape Girardeau, MO
which was a large hospital location for both sides. He tended to the sick and wounded and became interested in medicine. When he returned from the war, he went to medical school in Kansas City for 3 months and became a country doctor in the Mount Olive -- Saltillo area of what is now Faulkner County, Arkansas. He is buried in Mount Olive cemetery.
