SPRINGEALE— Mildred Mae Kelly, age 96, of Springdale, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 11, 2010, in Fayetteville. She was born Feb. 19, 1914, in Hoffman, Okla., the daughter of James and Bertha Smith Hurlbut. She was a homemaker and attended Elm Springs United Methodist Church where she was the oldest living member. She enjoyed quilting, and working crossword puzzles and was a big fan of the Razorback basketball team and the Cardinal baseball team.

She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Carter, Mary Pat Meyers and her husband, David, and Lynda Belvedresi and her husband, John, all of Springdale; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The family also wishes to give a special thank you to Katherine's Place for the compassionate care they gave to Ms. Kelly.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010, at Elm Springs United Methodist Church with the Rev. Carl Palmer officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Springs Cemetery under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 13, 2010, at the Elm Springs United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to the Elm Springs United Methodist Church Building Fund, 110 School St., Springdale, Arkansas 72762. Online condolences may be sent to www.memfuneral.com.
