SPRINGDALE — Donald Leonard Hoag, age 71, of Springdale, Ark., died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010, in Springdale. He was born Dec. 9, 1938, in Yates Center, Kan., the son of John Leo and Mary Francis Merewether Hoag.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Hoag of the home; two daughters, Valerie Holt and husband, Russell Holt, of Rogers, Ark., and Susan Pendergraft and husband, Kevin Pendergraft, of Tontitown, Ark.; one sister, Joyce Slater of Yates Center, Kan.; five grandsons; and five great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010, at Elm Springs United Methodist Church Chapel that faces School Avenue in Elm Springs, Ark. The Rev. Stewart Smith will officiate.
The family requests memorials be made to: Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72762.
