Bill Dean, age 82, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Saturday, March 2, 2012 in Mountain Home. He was born June 25, 1930 in Ozark, Arkansas to Waldo and Raye (Sinnickson) Dean.
Mr. Dean married Mary Smith May 17, 1950, in Huntsville, Arkansas. He was the owner/operator of Dean's Feed Store in Mountain Home for 41 years. He loved spending time with his family and hunting.
Mr. Dean is survived by his wife: Mary Dean of Mountain Home, a son: Jeff Dean and wife Dianne of Mountain Home, a daughter: Ann Wooten and husband Don of Gassville, four grandchildren: Melanie Wooten, David Wooten and wife: Amanda, Samantha Dean and Lauren Dean Kerian and husband: Eric, five great-grandchildren: Autumn, Heaven, Ethan, Alexa and Makenna, three nieces: Linda, Becky and Jean and a nephew: Si. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister: Kathryn Smith and a nephew: Michael Cagle.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor J.R. Cousins officiating. A visitation will be Tuesday from Noon until 9:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in East Oakland Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
