PORTIA — Charles Clay Hall, 84, died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2007, at St. Bernards Medical Center.

A member of the Church of Christ, he was a retired Teamster employee of the Cadillac Motor Division of General Motors. Born in Powhatan, he moved to Portia from Detroit.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Julia; son, Bob; and brother, Paul.

Survivors include sons, Charles C. Hall Jr. of Smithville and Ronnie W. Hall of West Memphis; brother, Brooks of Jonesboro; sister, Glenda Willis of Indiana; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in House-Gregg Funeral Home at Walnut Ridge with Robert Davis officiating. Burial will be in Powhatan Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
