Lena & BL slipped off from the Benton Co. Fair, in a horse a buggy, and were married Oct 24 1906, by Rev. William Sherman. He officiated at their renewal vows 50 years later. They never missed a Benton County Fair, and were recognized as the oldest married couple attending the fair, never missing one in 74 years.
