Clifton "C.J." Nichols, 85 of Denning, Arkansas, died Monday, June 11, 2012 in Denning.
He was a Retired Cargil Maintenance worker.
He was born July 21, 1926 in Mountain Top Community in Franklin County to Clifton John and Susie Tedford Nichols.
He was preceded in death by one son, Jerry Nichols; two daughters, Joyce Jones and Susie Nichols.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, June 16, 2012 at Harmon Cemetery in Ozark with Reverend Dane Ruff officiating under the direction for Shaffer Funeral Home.
He is survived by two sons, Larry Nichols of Denning and Clifton Willie Nichols of Fort Smith; one brother, Harlen Nichols of Ozark, Arkansas; six sisters Zena Lockwood of Oklahoma, Dena Smith of Mississippi, Mae Barnes Of Russellville, Sharon Highfill of Coal Hill, Mary Hurst of Fort Smith, Helen Emberton of Chester, Arkansas.
