Caryl Estelleen Keefer, 80, of Conway, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2006, at her home. She was born November 10, 1925, in Alvin, IL, to the late Estel and Edith (Scott) Butts. She was retired from the Conway School System and was a member of Liberty Church of Christ. Survivors include her children, John L. Keefer, Jr. and wife Inge of Teague, TX, Jerry E. Keefer and wife Penny of Conway, Edith M. Day and husband Ray of Brooksville, FL, Karen E. Keefer of Conway, Estel A. Keefer and wife Gail of Rock Falls, IL, Caryl L. Segobiano and husband Joe of Sterling, IL, Kimberly DeWeese and husband John of Conway, and Bill M. Keefer and wife Pam of Conway; a sister, Wyn Barthoff of Littleton, CO; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John L. Keefer, Sr., a son, David C. Keefer, two brothers, Ollie C. Butts and Edwin Butts and three grandsons, Justin DeWeese, Ricky Day, and J.R. Bledsoe. Funeral services will be Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Liberty Church of Christ with Jim Davis officiating. Burial will follow at New Liberty Cemetery.
