SPRINGDALE — Beverly Gibson, 47, of Springdale died July 17, 2004, at Springdale Health and Rehab. She was born Aug. 11, 1956, in Springdale to Walter James and Essie May Blackston Burks. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, David Gibson of the home, whom she married Dec. 28, 1972; two daughters, Jennifer Bean of Lowell and Tammy Landers of Springdale; three brothers, James Burks and Melvin Burks Sr., both of Springdale, and Robert Burks Sr. of Hindsville; two sisters, Wilma Elwin of Springdale and Dianna Thompson of Goshen; nine grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale with the Rev. Bill Williams and the Rev. Larry Tolbert officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Michael Elwin, Marty Elwin, Billy Thompson, Robert Burks Jr., Melvin Burks Jr. and Scotty Burks. Honorary pallbearers will be Dusty Gibson, William McKelvey, Jacob McKelvey, Curtis Thompson, Earl Clampet and Jack Burnett.
Visitation will begin at noon today at the funeral home. The family will be present from 5 to 7 p.m.
