KARNES, Alice GIBSON - Mrs. Lee E. Karnes died last evening at her home just south of the ice plant at 7:35 o'clock. Death was the result of tuberculosis of the bowels, from which she had suffered for some time. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. J.P. Dillon of the Christian church this afternoon at three o'clock at the residence. Mrs. Karnes was fifty-five years old and had been a member of the Christian church for forty years. She leaves a husband and four children, Mrs. Wm. Threet of Lufkin, Texas and two sons, Claude and Lloyd. [Only 3 named.) Mrs. Karnes had lived here ten years, coming here from Springdale and was held in high esteem by her friends and neighbors. Her maiden name was Alice Gibson and she was born in Boone county, Missouri.
