KARNES, Hortense Maud - Miss Hortense Maud Karnes, the twenty year old daughter of L.E. Karnes, died on Wednesday morning at 12:30 at the home of her parents in the southeast part of Rogers. Miss Karnes had been sick only four days and death was caused by hemorrhage of the bowels. The funeral will be held this afternoon at 1:30 at the home of the deceased
and the services will be conducted by Rev. Metts of the M.E. church. Miss Karnes was born at Joplin, Mo. She came here a year ago last fall with her parents from Springdale. The family have the sympathy of their many Rogers friends.
