LOWELL — Rosa Marlene Shrum, 54, of Lowell, died July 27, 2011, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. She was born Jan. 15, 1957, in McPherson, Kan., to Edward and Willie Alice Glenn Gabbard. She was a purchasing agent for Walmart. She enjoyed fishing, watching the birds and her family.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth R. Shrum, of the home; one son, Jason Laswell and wife, Kate, of Springdale; five brothers, James Jackson and Gary Gabbard, both of Springdale, Marty Gabbard of Lowell, Sterling Glenn of Albany, N.Y., and Leroy Glenn of McCurtain, Okla.; and one grandchild, Kaycee Bidwell.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 30, 2011, at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale, with the Rev. Johnny Baker officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 7 p.m at the funeral home.
