Hilda Jean Scott, 59, of Xenia, Ohio, formerly of Paris, died Thursday, June 1, 2000, in a Dayton, Ohio, hospital.
She was a foster mother for the Greene County area and a member of Middle Run Baptist Church.
Funeral was at Church of God of Paris with burial at Gray Rock Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Rowell-Parish Mortuary of Fort Smith.
She is survived by one daughter, Nekia Taylor of Xenia; two sons, George Taylor Jr. and Pierre Taylor, both of Xenia; five sisters, Lula White of Spiro, Sue Bright of San Antonio, Texas, Clara Wade of Fort Smith; Eula Curry of Altus and Doris Petty of Oakland, Calif.; two brothers, Raymond Ellingberg of Fort Smith and Charles Ellingberg of Richmond, Calif.; one grandchild, Valerie Taylor; and her companion, George Taylor Sr. of Xenia.
Pallbearers were George Taylor Jr., Marcus Wade, Ray and Robert Perry Bates and Pat and Ray Ellingburg.
