Johnnie Martin Jr., 56, of Paris died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001, in a Fort Smith hospital. He was born Aug. 22, 1945, in Paris. He was janitorial and maintenance man for Paris Health and Rehab and a member of First Church of God in Gray Rock. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday in First Church of God with burial at Gray Rock Cemetery in Gray Rock under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark. He is survived by his wife, Juanita; five daughters, Sara Bankhead, of Wakeecan, Ill., Leigh Johnson and Melissa Martin, both of Paris, Priscilla Haynes of Fort Smith and Barbara Harding of Oklahoma City; and 11 grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Scott Hembree, Leroy Jones, Robert Thomas, Chester and Richard Milam and Robert Collier.
