BLUM, R. - The News last week overlooked to make mention of the death of R. Blum, residing east of town, which occurred on Sunday, August 17, of stomach trouble. The remains were interred in the Lutheran cemetery on the following day, services being conducted by Rev. Cook. The services at the grave were conducted by the A.O.U.W. Lodge of which deceased was a member. R. Blum came here some twelve years ago from Franklin Co. Neb. and has since made this his home. He was a good citizen and was respected by all who knew him. He was about 59 years old and leaves a wife and four children.
