David Lee Ellingburg 59 of Paris, Arkansas died Monday, September 7, 2009 in Paris. He was born May 30, 1950 in Paris, Arkansas to Eddie and Willie Bell (Logan) Ellingburg.
David attended Pooles Temple Church of God and Christ in Gray Rock. He was a member of the shooting stars wheelchair basketball team and loved fishing and hunting.
He is preceded in death by his parents Eddie & Willie Bell Ellingburg; two sisters; Elizabeth Brown and Delta Marie Richards; four brothers; Aden Ellingburg, Willie Ellingburg, Charles Ellingburg and Eddie Ellingburg Jr.
David leaves behind his wife of 33 years Mary Anna (Jones) Ellingburg, one son; Shawn DeAndre Ellingburg of Paris, AR., two daughters; Vanessa Simpson and husband Lezerick of Garland, TX. and Amanda Ellingburg of Paris, AR., four sisters; Audrey Edwards of Grand View, MO., Lois Lephart and husband Ron of Kansas City, KS., Janice Orr and husband Robert of Paris, AR., Mary Wise and husband Bill of Paris, AR., four brothers Robert Paul Ellingburg and wife Julia of Kansas City, MO., Leonard Ray Ellingburg of Paris, AR., Edmond Ellingburg of Kansas City, MO. and Holsey Ellingburg of Paris, AR, twelve Grandchildren; Shauna, Desarea, Malik, Marquis, Gabrielle, Emouney, Vanesha, LaDana, Maija, Aundrella, Makayla and Musheera and numerous other family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., on Friday, September 11, 2009 at Roller Funeral home in Paris.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Gray Rock Cemetery, under the direction of Roller Funeral Home-Paris.
Pallbearers will be Paul Clinkscale, Stevie Ellingburg, Robert Orr Jr., Jewel Ellingburg, Nicholas Ellingburg, Milton Brown Jr., Corey Wallace and Patrick Ellingburg
Honorary Pallbearers Robert Orr Sr., Mac Milum, Philip White, Sylvester Poole, Jimmy Jones and David Harris
