Wife of James Wiley Thronburg
Funeral service for Mrs. Mary Thornburg age 84, who died Tuesday at her home in the Pilot Grove community were conducted Wednesday and burial was in the Pilot Grove cemetery. Mrs Thornburg is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Jess Gilbreath and Mrs Johnnie Gilbreath of near Pilot Grove; and three, sons, Lee Adams, John Thornburg and Dan Thornburg,whose home are in Oklahoma. She came to this county in 1871 and has lived in the Pilot Grove community until her death from Pneumonia. Source: The Spectator dated March 17-20 1936.
