Obituary in the Spectator dated Friday May 3,1939
Funeral services for Frank Haislip 65years of age died Tuesday from a heart attack , was held at Belt Cemetery Wednesday with Rev. T L. Dickerson officiating. Mr Haislip was a native of Madison county, coming to this county about 40yrs ago. He is survived by his wife and three sons, Harvey Haislip of Denning, Buford Haislip of Ft. Smith, and Grady Haislip of Seminole, Okla.; two daughters, Mrs Frank Moore of Alix and Mrs Animal of Van Buren; two half brothers, Richard and Henry Haislip both of Alix.
