Alva Earl Davis, 64, of Ozark died Thursday, Sep 1, 1994, at the Van Buren fhospital. He was a retired road grader operator for the Franklin county Road Department. Son of the late Heze and Nancy Dickerson Davis, he was born 13 Nov 1929, at Watalula. Survivors include three sister, Letha Childers and Shirley Williams, both of Ozark, and Kathleen Barrett of Mayflower; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services were held at 2: p.m., Sunday at the Belt Cemetery, with Rev. Charles Davis officiating Burial was under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home. Employees of the Franklin County Road Department served as pallbearers.
