Jasper Sheppard, 77, of Alma, father of Sharon Kay and Colleen Sheppard, both of Coal Hill, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009, in Van Buren.
He was a retired sawmill employee and son of the late Doc Henry and Bertha Nichols Sheppard.
Other survivors include one brother, Henry Sheppard of Alma; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services and burial were at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 23, at Belt Cemetery under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
