Lynn Robert Wallace, 79, 114 Haven Dr., Rogers, died Oct. 12 in Rogers Memorial Hospital.
Born Jan. 28, 1895 in Harris, Kan., he was the son of John and Emma LaMaster Wallace. He was reared in Kansas, was a teacher for 45 years and spent the last 34 years in school administration work. He moved to Rogers in January, 1973; was a veteran of World War I; member of First United Methodist Church at Rogers, Masonic Lodge, American Legion and World War II Barracks.
Survivors include his wife, Cecile Hutton Wallace of the home; one son, Lynn R. (Bob) Wallace Jr., Fort Smith; one brother, Ted Wallace, Kansas City, Kan.; one sister, Miss Zazelle Wallace, West Palm Beach, Fla.; and two grand-children.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church, Rogers, with Rev. W.P. Connell officiating. Masonic burial rites will be conducted by the Rogers Masonic Lodge in Benton County Memorial Park under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Rogers.
