Glenn A. Nicholson, 83, of Bella Vista died Nov. 17 in Amarillo, Texas. He was born Sept. 22, 1902, in Cobden, Ill., to Charlie G. and Annie Littlepage Nicholson. He was a retired rancher and moved to Bella Vista in 1972 from Ashland, Kan. He was a member of the Bella Vista Baptist Church and a Mason.

Survivors include one son, Max Nicholson of Amarillo; one brother, Charlie Nicholson of Everette, Wash.; three sisters, Anna Mae Stotts of Waterford, Calif., Bessie Stephens of Muleshoe, Texas, and Lona Jones of McLean, Texas; and two grandsons.

The funeral was held at the Bella Vista Baptist Church on Nov. 21 with the Rev. George O'Neal officiating. Burial was in the Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Bentonville.

Memorials may be made to the Bella Vista Baptist Church.

Fannie Mae Nicholson, 78, of Bella Vista, died Aug. 17 in Bates Memorial Hospital.

She was born Oct. 27, 1903, in Childress, Texas.

She and her husband operated a ranch for many years. She worked in a flower shop for a number of years and was a Sunday School teacher for 25 years, teaching junior and senior classes. She was also active in the choir for more than 30 years. She moved to Bella Vista in 1972 from Ashland, Kan., and was a member of the Bella Vista Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Glenn Nicholson; a son, Max Nicholson of Amarillo, Texas; two brothers, Johnny McIntosh and A.D. McIntosh, both of Fresno, Calif.; three sisters, Beatrice Donaver of Sonoma, Calif., Opal McIntosh and Geraldine Alcorn, both of Watsonville, Calif.; and two grandsons.

Funeral services were held Aug. 19 in the Bella Vista Baptist Church by the Rev. George O'Neel. Burial was in the Benton County Memorial Park with Burns Funeral Home of Bentonville in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Bella Vista Baptist Church.
