Jimmy Dale Lynn, age 73, a resident of Russellville, died Tuesday, September 9, 2003, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center.

He was born September 18, 1929, at Mayflower, Arkansas, and was a son of the late Elza and Marie Kell Lynn. He was a tool and die maker and a past member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and attended the Assembly of God Church. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, J. E., David, and Truman Lynn.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Velta H. Lynn; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Ronald Dale and Kathleen Lynn of Edmonds, Washington, Stephen J. Lynn of London, and Gregory A. Lynn of Chickalah, Arkansas; a brother, Morris Ray Lynn of Pottsville; two sisters, Doris F. Russell of Russellville and Elsie Mae Brown of Medford, Oregon; two grandchildren, Sanya Lawless of Kirkland, Washington and Joshua Dale Lynn of Brunswick, Maryland; and other relatives and friends.

Graveside service were 10 A. M., Friday, September 12, 2003, at Rankin Cemetery in Russellville, with Rev. Horace Hollis officiating. Burial, with military honors by V. F. W. Rogers-Rye Post 2283, will be under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service.
