Roy Lee Love, 89 of Vilonia, passed away Tuesday May 10th .

He was born March 24, 1922 in Greenbrier, AR. to the late Mr. and Mrs. William Bryan Love.

Roy Lee was also preceded in death by one daughter, Jo Ellen Newell, twin sister, Floy Dee, a brother Herbert, and a half sister, Pearl.

Roy Lee was of the Methodist Faith. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II. Roy Lee was employed by the Vilonia Water Works for many years. He loved hunting, gardening and sports, especially baseball.

Roy Lee also enjoyed playing dominoes at the Vilonia Senior Citizens Center. Roy Lee was a very kind and loving person and never complained, even during his illness. He was loved very much by his family.

Roy Lee is survived by his wife of 68 years, Frances W. Love, sons, Eddie Lee Love, and wife Nancy of Phoenix, AZ., Phillip Bryan Love and wife, Heidi of Benton, and Glen D. Love and wife, Merrilie of Little Rock, one daughter, Judy Alevy of Miami, FL., six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.


Graveside Funeral Service is 10:00 a.m. Friday May 13th at Cypress Valley Cemetery, under the direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway, with Reverend Belinda Price officiating.

Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Scott Newell, Brent Newell, Jellel Coker, Benny Bell, James Edwards, and Dale Edwards.

Visitation is 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Friday at the cemetery.
