ROGERS — Reta M. Elliott, 80, of Rogers, Ark., died Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers, Ark. She was born Nov. 23. 1930, in Rogers, Ark., the daughter of Celena B. Powell and Rhea Harp.

She enjoyed playing cards and games with her family and friends and was very competitive. She was employed by Walmart Inc. for over 10 years. She and her husband owned and operated Elliott Plumbing for over 30 years together. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting, sewing, working crosswords, and dancing and listening to music. She was a member of the VFW in Rogers.

She had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area for her entire lifetime. She was a graduate of Bentonville High School.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Bud Elliott in 1998.

Reta is survived by one son, Kim Elliott and his wife, Tammy, of Bentonville, Ark.; one daughter, Lynn Couch and her husband, Donnie, of Rogers, Ark.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, June 3, 2011, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Epting Funeral Home in Bentonville, Ark.

Graveside service will be Saturday, June 4, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Little Flock Cemetery in Little Flock, Ark., with Pastor Buddy Gastineau officiating.

Memorials may be sent to Faith Christian Fellowship of Rogers, Ark.
