Victor Lee Flesher, 73, of Belleville, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, October 3, 2008 on Cedar Creek Road in Havana. The son of Jesse and Hazel Davis Flesher, he was born November 18, 1934 in Kingman, KS. He was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He moved to Arkansas in 1961 to work in the oil field on Danville Mountain. He married Pearlie Lee Strode, August 18, 1962, at Belleville. Before his retirement, he was a Lineman at Firestone Rubber & Tire. He was a member of the Christians Gathered to the Name Lord Jesus Christ church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jimmy Flesher.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Pearlie Flesher of Belleville; daughter, Patty Condley & husband Don of Appleton; granddaughter, Kathryn Condley of Appleton; three sisters, Barbara Cayton of Chickasha, OK, Emma Lou Flesher of Oklahoma City, OK, Colleen Perdue & husband Gene of Moore, Ok; one brother, Kenneth Flesher & wife Tootie of Oklahoma City, OK; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was held at 2:00 PM,on Monday, October 6, 2008 at Humphrey Chapel. Bro. Mark Gower and Bro. Bill Storks will officiate. Burial was at Brock Cemetery by Humphrey Funeral Service.
