Iva Marie Laymon, 87, of Dover, Arkansas, died Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Stella Manor Nursing Home in Russellville, Arkansas. The daughter of David and Sara Etta Boyd Treadwell, she was born October 21, 1924 in Dover, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. Iva loved being outdoors gardening or fishing. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jesse L. Laymon; son, Boyce Dale Laymon and sister, Walsie McClaine.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Wanda Ford & husband C.L. of Dover; son, Robert Laymon of Edmond, Oklahoma; 4 grandchildren, Pamela Ann Williams of Dover, Kristen Kuepker & husband Mike of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Keeley Morrison & husband Michael of Edmond, Oklahoma, Sam Laymon & wife Holley of Edmond, Oklahoma; 6 great grandchildren, Charles Williams, Wyatt Laymon, Jesse Laymon, Everett Laymon, Greyson Kuepker, Landon Kuepker; one brother, Otho Treadwell of Scottsville; two sisters, Corine Huffman of Russellville and Elsie Linton of Wichita, Kansas.
Funeral was at 10:00AM, Monday, February 20, 2012 at Humphrey Chapel. Burial was at Brock Cemetery North of Dover, AR by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation was from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, on Sunday, at the funeral home.
