Junior Sheppard, age 70, of Ozark, Arkansas, died Friday, July 16, 2010 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
He was born March 22, 1940 in Franklin County to Ernest and Lou Ammie Sheppard.
He was an independent businessman; He was a member of the Old Country Church in Ozark.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters; Velma George and Wanda Ellison; A brother, James Vernon Sheppard.
He is survived by his wife, Alta Reed Sheppard of Ozark, two daughters, Teresa Lee of Altus and Melody Howe of Ozark; a son, Danny Sheppard of Ozark; a brother J.D. Sheppard of Ozark and a sister, Wilma Drain of Ozark; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Dewayne and Randall George, Tony Sheppard, Tim Drain, Paul Lee and Jerry Howe
Honorary Pallbearers were Donnie Ellison, Matthew and Codfy Sheppard, Donny Barker, Jim Keck and Roger Burcham.
Burial was at Belt Cemetery.
Rev. Johnny Case and Rev. J.D. ELlison officiated the service.
